The transition to workwear can sometimes be quite delicate. You want to impress your colleagues without going too far.

It is important to remember that all casual clothes are not suitable for professional use.

To do this effectively, the sophisticated woman needs some basic clothing for men and women.

• First of all, you will need a simple black flat front trousers. Black suit pants are versatile and can be dressed as needed. Another khaki pants are also recommended.
• How about a straight skirt hanging just below the knees? These skirts are flattering and can be worn with a multitude of tops. Casual skirts that are slit at the knee or below are acceptable in most businesses. Never wear a miniskirt in the office.
• You will need a sleeveless and fitted solid color dress that can be worn with a cardigan.
• Fine knit sweaters in bright colors can be worn with pants or a skirt.
• A black cardigan is chic and easy to wear.
• A sexy neutral color jacket is fabulous under a jacket.
• A flawless white shirt always looks great.
• A classic gray or black coat is also needed.
• Black pumps with an elegant heel can go with any outfit. Flip flops, slippers and sport shoes are not acceptable at the office.
• A simple black bag (matching black pumps) also complements most outfits.

Remember that clothing that reveals too much cleavage, back, chest, feet, stomach or undergarments is not appropriate for the workplace.

All clothing should be squeezed and clean. No torn, dirty or frayed clothing is acceptable. The company logo is the only acceptable image or word for a dress code.

When it's good to dress up, it's a good idea to be cautious. Wear beautiful jeans with a solid top and heels. Never wear anything that could be offensive to others.
