Shoes for the bride

Trying to find the perfect shoes for your special day can only be described as embarrassing. Will it be heels or flats? Do you want to show your toes or will you opt for a sandal look? Walking around in all colors, styles and designs can lead the bride to shed a tear or two.

Do not despair, finding a wedding shoe should not be such a daunting proposition if you follow only a few simple details.

Let's first look at your dress, color, and type of fabric. As a rule, keep your shoes and dress as coordinated as possible. Combine the fabric of  your wedding   dress with the fabric of your shoes.

Heels would be the right choice if you wear a short dress or knee to refine your legs. He will also give you legs all along your way, you know where. An interesting addition and attraction would be to go with open-toed heels. Well-maintained toes are essential if you choose this option.

The climate is another consideration if you are getting married outdoors. If it's hot and humid, choose sandals. After all, you will not want to turn off your new husband with stinky feet when you remove your shoes after the wedding.

Make sure your shoes are comfortable. You will be up all day, so you want something nice. Do not try to slip into a shoe just for the look. Wear the size you would normally wear for your office shoes or pumps.

If you fall between two sizes, it is better to choose the largest one. Do not sacrifice style to the detriment of comfort. If your feet hurt, you will feel unhappy. If you decide to choose a wedding shoe with thongs or ties, make sure they can come off easily and not rub the skin.  your wedding   shoes can make or break the day of your wedding.

Make sure you try out your new shoes. Walk on different surfaces and break them well before your special day. Do not sacrifice comfort for style.

Take a piece of sandpaper to roughen the smooth finish of the sole of the shoes. This will help prevent slipping on smooth surfaces. It is better to change  your wedding   shoes now than to wait for the wedding and to be sorry for not being able to walk properly in the aisles.

Once at the reception, you will need a second pair of shoes. Keep comfort in the foreground in your mind. You will be sitting most of the time at the reception, so why would you want to have heels?
