The problems of acne

Acne can be the most embarrassing visitor that can be, because it occurs mostly at a time when you need it the least, which is every day, I suppose. But sometimes it happens to be an unwanted guest at the most unpleasant moments of our life.

It may not be life threatening, but it can cause you a lot of discomfort or sometimes loss of face.

But do not worry when it happens and you miss acne treatment in your medicine cabinet, because you may just need to look for some household items that work as well temporarily as some acne treatments currently on the market.

Treating acne with aspirin

Take one tablet of aspirin and crush it until it takes a powdery form, then with a few drops of water, dissolve it and apply the solution directly to the affected area, then leave it until what it dries.

While drying, rinse the face with lukewarm water. Aspirin will surely shorten the life of the pimple.

You can also go to the freezer and take some ice cubes because they can quickly remedy the situation. This is not a guaranteed treatment, but it will reduce swelling and redness for a few minutes.

Remove pimples with toothpaste

Another quick remedy for the pimple is to apply some white fluoride toothpaste to the affected area, as it has been proven that the pimple dries quickly.

It is ideal to apply toothpaste to the affected area before retiring, to leave it and to let it act during the night while you sleep.

This can also be done during the day, as long as you plan to stay indoors all day long.

Eye drops, especially those based on active tetrahydrozoline, that will help eliminate pimple pain, although it is not a cure.

Just moisten a piece of cotton and dab on the button for a few seconds. You will start to see the redness disappear.

Other pimples treatments

Neosporin, an antibiotic that treats wounds in the mouth or skin, can also heal pimples. Simply apply a small amount of Neosporin to the affected area before starting and notice the effect of the bacterium's rapid healing.

If you want a more natural treatment of pimples, try using honey because it has antibacterial properties that make it an effective and gentle  natural treatment for acne.  

If acne remains a persistent problem, honey can be used as a weekly facial mask to treat or alleviate pimples or acne.
