Cook the quick rice
Vegan Quick Rice With Vegetables Ingredients
Start by cooking your bag of quick rice, which usually means putting one bag per person in bowling water, and covering for around 15 minutes the bags in the boiling water. Once done, drain the rice and leave it on the side to cool down.
Brown onions with tofu
While the rice is cooling down, poor a bit of olive oil in a pan. While the olive oil is heating up on low fire, dice the onion, about 5g per person, and brown it in the olive oil. Once done, add the smoked tofu in the pan and let it heat up slowly.
Mix ingredients in the pan
On the side, prepare all the ingredients you like to warm up - it can be none if you like them chilled. In any case, add a bit of cuisine soya in the mix to create your sauce base, and avoid the mix to burn in the pan.
While the ingredients in the pan are warming up, prepare the plates by presenting the rice, unless you want to fry it in the pan, and add chill vegetables to accompany it: pieces of salad leaves, chopped cornichons, olives and cherry tomatoes, dried tomatoes.
Finish plate and serve
