Makeup and ball gowns mix for beauty!

You bought your dress, your shoes, your jewelry and your handbag. You have decided to style yourself or to have a beautician. You must now decide if you are going to make up or do it professionally. With 2007 prom dresses, it's all about fashion, and make-up is part of this fashion statement that will make you shine!

If you do not like wearing makeup, you will have to wear a small amount for your ball. Make-up will bring out your features and cover unwanted imperfections.

If you have decided to make your own makeup, put on your makeup before putting on your prom dress. This is a precaution to protect your dress from drops or splashes that may occur while you wear makeup.

There are many tips for applying makeup that can bring out your natural beauty.

Foundation and concealer

The first step in applying makeup is to choose the perfect base. This is done by matching the makeup to your complexion and your complexion. Always make sure that the makeup is well mixed and that there are no lines of foundation around the neck. A concealer can be used for visible imperfections or dark circles under the eyes. Dab it lightly and mix it well with the foundation.

Eye makeup

Once your base is applied, your eyes are the next important step. You do not want your eye shadow to match the color of your prom dress, but you want it to complement the dress. In order to highlight your eyes, you will use a lighter shade or the basic color of the eyelash line to the eyebrow. Use a darker shade as an outline along the upper lash line, from the center to the outer corner, and then back along the fold.

With an eye pencil, draw a single line above the upper lash line, from the inside corner to the outside corner. Then draw a line under your lower lashes from the outer corner to the inner corner.

Mascara adds the finishing touch to your eyes. Hold the brush vertically to stroke your lower lashes. Then, for your upper lashes, move the brush back and forth at the base, then brush the brush up.

To blush

You may want to add a little cheek color just for people to think you have a natural glow. To apply this, you can use a cheek-colored brush, which will make mixing easier.

Lipstick

You can bring out your lips by lining them with a pencil, then filling them with a creamy lipstick. This will give a definition and shape to your lips. Glossy lipstick can be used for this stunning look.

Powder

Finally, after applying your prom makeup, sprinkle your face with loose powder by applying light taps down. This can be applied using a powder brush

Body makeup

You may want to experiment with body make-up to showcase your prom dress. It's a sparkling powder or gel that can be applied to your arms and shoulders and you'll look like you're under the stars

One tip Do not use your friends' makeup (especially eye makeup). Bacteria can be in the makeup because it has been opened and used. This can cause an eye infection or pink eyes. If you wear makeup professionally, bring your own lipstick with you.
