Tips for makeup and skin care

Makeup and skin care is generally considered the strong point of women. Men rarely engage in make-up and skin care. Many men take care of their skin but makeup is really foreign to most men. Treating makeup and skin care as different subjects would not make sense; after all, makeup will only work if the skin is healthy. So, how do you make makeup and skin care together? Here are some tips for makeup and skin care:

  • Always keep skin care in mind, whether you buy make-up products or apply them to your skin after purchasing them. So, what you buy is a product of makeup and skin care, not just a makeup product. Check the ingredients for any substances you may be allergic to. Also check to see if it contains high concentration chemicals that could harm your skin.
  • Makeup and skin care also involves testing the products before using them. So, apply makeup on a small piece of skin, for example. ear lobes and check how your skin reacts to them.
  • Keep track of the expiry date on your make-up products and never use them after the expiry date. In fact, some products (for example,  Vitamin C   products), if not stored properly, are spoiled much earlier than the expiry date.
  • Cleanliness is an important part of the makeup and skincare procedure. Regularly sharpen your eye area and keep all your makeup equipment clean at all times. You can set a monthly date for the revision of your equipment. As part of cleanliness, your makeup and skin care procedure should also include maintaining the cleanliness of your hair at all times.
  • Nail care is another important aspect of makeup and skin care. Use a good quality nail polish and always keep your nails clean. Once you have finished cleaning and polishing your nails, you should apply cuticle oil to the edges of the nail.
  • If you have deep eyes, you should use a liquid eye pencil instead of a pencil. This will prevent smearing on the deep edges of your eyelid.
  • If you have a skin problem, for example acne, you should not apply heavy makeup or chemical makeup. Consult your dermatologist if you are not sure which makeup products you can use when you have acne or other skin disorders. Never try to pinch pimples / acne. Remember that makeup and skin care should not conflict.
  • Use a mild makeup remover (instead of washing it).
  • Another important procedure of makeup and skin care is the following golden rule: Never sleep with your makeup
  • When applying a deodorant, be sure to respect the recommended distance between the nozzle and your skin (as indicated on the deodorant package).
