Ways to use solar energy for heating

We are used to turning a dial or pressing a button to get warmth. These ways are good but they can also be annoying. Heating homes, schools or businesses with solar energy is not only easy but also profitable. There are many ways to capture the heat of the sun, even in winter. In order to capture the heat of the sun, you need a solar source. This source may be something that will attract the sun's rays but will trap the heat of it when it enters the spring. A good example is a veranda.

These rooms are attached to a house or building and are constructed of floor-to-ceiling glass panels. It usually faces the morning sun to take full advantage of the heat. When the sun shines in the room, the glass allows the sun's rays to heat the furniture and everything in the room. These areas become the source that holds the heat so that it does not come out of the glass. This type of heating is natural and can be very effective if it is built properly.

Other forms of solar heat are:

Thermal mass that absorbs and retains heat. It traps and retains heat as the sun shines and scatters it when the sun goes down.

Trombe Wall is a natural solar heating and ventilation system that uses air channels to retain heat between a glass object and a thermal mass exposed to the sun. The sunlight is trapped and stored inside this wall and then flows through the ventilation holes, as well as the top and bottom of the wall. The wall radiates heat.

The Transpired collector is also a wall used in the sun. The wall absorbs sunlight and heats the air when it enters the ventilation system.

Solar cooling is a great way to ventilate a building. It absorbs solar heat and cools it by producing ice with a solar powered steam engine that is connected to a cooling device.

Solar Chimney is also a solar ventilation system. It consists of a hollow thermal mass inside. The chimney will warm the air inside the chimney and raise the heat. The rise allows air to circulate and ventilate properly.
