The round neck and v-neck pullovers can easily be worn on a t-shirt with jeans for a more casual look. These pullovers can also look great with pretty pants and a button-down shirt, for a professional look at work or even a date. These are simply a must for every wardrobe.

Cardigans made of cotton, wool or cashmere can be thin enough to be worn under a jacket. They have a double zipper that allows you to put it on or take it off easily. They are ideal for layering, on a t-shirt, button, under a jacket, with jeans, corduroy or suit pants. If you do not already have one, go shopping and try one to see how you like it.

Polo jerseys are easily found in summer. They are made of lightweight cotton and have short sleeves. They are an elegant alternative to t-shirts and can keep you cool during the warmer months. They look great when worn with khakis and look great on casual fridays.

Turtlenecks are essentially reserved for the coldest winter months. The turtlenecks are best when they are more fitted to the body and neck and should not be worn too wide. A turtleneck in thick twisted knit would look great with a nice jeans. While a cashmere turtleneck sweater or lightweight merino wool would be exceptionally stylish under a city jacket.

Cashmere sweaters are probably the most luxurious items you can have in your wardrobe. Although wools and cottons share a warm place in the heart of your wardrobe, the ultra-soft material of the cashmere sweater can be worn all year round. If you do not already have one, try giving your first cashmere sweater a neutral tone like black, charcoal or navy, a color that can be worn with just about anything.
