Personal skin care is a routine

We all know the importance of personal skin care. The opinion on procedures (for personal skin care) differs from person to person. Some people think that going to a beauty salon every other day is a personal skin care. Others think that personal skin care is simply applying cream or lotion to the skin from time to time. Then there are people who think that personal skin care is an event that occurs once a month or once a year. Still others take care of personal skin care all the time. However, personal skin care is not so complicated or expensive (given its beneficial effect). Personal skin care follows a routine or procedure to meet the needs of your skin.

Even before starting a routine, you need to determine your skin type (oily, dry, sensitive, normal, etc.) and select skin care products that are right for you (you may need to experiment with some skincare products personal skin). . Here is a routine that should work for most people with normal skin.

Cleansing is the first thing to do in your skin care routine. The three main ingredients of a cleaner are oil, water and surfactants (wetting agents). Oil and surfactants remove dirt and oil from your skin and water, then rinse it, thus cleaning your skin. You may need to try some cleaning products before finding the one that suits you best. However, you should always use soap-free cleaners. In addition, you should use Luke lukewarm water for cleaning (hot and cold water both cause damage to your skin). Be careful not to clean your skin too much and damage your skin at the same time.

The second thing about the skin care routine is exfoliation. The skin follows a natural maintenance process in which it removes dead cells and replaces them with new skin cells. Exfoliation is only one way to make the skin easier in this process. Dead  skin cells   are not able to respond to personal skin care products but continue to consume these products, preventing them from reaching the new skin cells. It is therefore important to remove dead  skin cells   to increase the effectiveness of all skin care products. In general, the exfoliation takes place just after the cleansing. As with any personal skin care procedure, it is important that you understand the amount of exfoliation you need. Exfoliate 4-5 times a week for oily / normal skin and 1-2 times a week for dry / sensitive skin. Exfoliate several times more in hot, humid weather.

The next thing on the skin care routine is moisturizers. This is one of the most important things in personal skin care. Even people with oily skin need moisturizers. Moisturizers not only seal the moisture in your skin cells, but also attract moisture (air) whenever necessary. However, using too much moisturizer can clog the pores of the skin and damage your skin. The amount of moisturizer your skin needs will become evident within a week of using the moisturizer. The application of the moisturizer is also best when your skin is still wet.

The last thing about the skin care routine is sunscreen. Many moisturizers (day creams / moisturizers) have UV protection - so you can get two benefits. Such moisturizers are recommended every day (whether it's sunny or raining).
