Attractive and simple feather crowns to make

Feather wreaths can be a surprisingly attractive decoration and are surprisingly simple to build.

A wreath made of feathers (real or artificial) can take many forms. They range from playful decorative objects made from pink and fuzzy artificial feathers to more traditional seasonal door elements made from wild turkey feathers. The options are almost endless. A quick glance at any major craft show will reveal hundreds of possibilities. The many different styles of these crowns make it a popular accent item.

Although there are many models and ways to build a feather crown, one of the easiest ways to make one is to use a basic straw crown shape (available at any store). craft) and several large feathers. This approach does not require any additional supplies, except a pencil or other device that can be used to drill guide holes in the form.

The garland manufacturer simply sculpts the feathers and creates a ring around the lower third of the shape. Usually, feathers are inserted at an angle to produce a more organized and attractive end product. After completing the first feather ring, additional layers are made in the same pattern. Generally, three or four layers will give a desirable result if the feathers are large enough in relation to the size of the garland. Once all pens are properly inserted, the crown maker can add accent elements to improve the final performance. The traditional favorite is an arch placed at the bottom of the crown.

This feather crown production strategy works great with large turkey feathers and can produce a striking striking piece, perfect for fall decoration and Thanksgiving. However, the technique will work with virtually any type of pen. For example, one can create an angel wreath from white flowers or a fun and colorful artist object from a bag of multicolored artificial feathers.

Feather wreaths can be relatively simple to manufacture and produce a wreath maker with a popular alternative to crowns made from leaves, twigs or branches. The exact nature of a wreath of flowers is limited only by the imagination of the manufacturer.
